Model Releases ::: Orange County Boudoir ::: Grace and Lace Boudoir

Hi Friends!! I just wanted to go over model releases with you guys real quick … so there is absolutely no confusion when it comes to YOUR boudoir session. We NEVER work with paid models. Each and every one of our clients are paying clients. We never want anybody to feel obligated to share their photos, if you would rather they remain private, we completely understand. After all, this is a very intimate and private type of photography we are talking about here. Many of our clients feel so confidently about their photos that they are excited to share them - whether it’s a full release or a partial release. Here are the differences with the different options:

FULL RELEASE

Please share my images online on any platform. This option is for those clients that are excited to show their images to the world! This option allows us to share it on our Grace and Lace Boudoir Facebook page, our private group, Instagram, and Pinterest. They will be used in advertising, marketing and any other place where our images are featured!

PARTIAL RELEASE

There are different variations for this on our release. You can choose to just have anonymous images shown or be specific about where you would like for it to be shown (i.e. just our FB group or just our website)

NO RELEASE

This is what you would check if you do not want ANY of your images online, print, etc. You want them to remain 100% private.

We completely understand that boudoir photography is very personal and we respect your privacy. We will never share your images online or in print without your written permission with this image release, so rest assured. We never pressure you either way. Some women are excited to share all of them and some may not want to due to their comfort level, or job, etc.

Blue hair, don't care ::: Orange County Boudoir ::: Grace and Lace Boudoir

I can’t tell you how much I love it when a client comes in all tatted up with funky hair color to boot! I love that they use their body as their canvas for their art. It’s so much fun to shoot! So when Miss A walked in our door, you know I was excited as hell to photograph her!

“YYYAAASSS!! That is the first thing that comes to mind when I think about Jeni and Sarah.”

“Their work is beautiful and they’re providing us with much more than pictures, so much more. If you're feeling self conscious and hesitant to invest in yourself, please know you're in great hands and you'll want every image they show you.”

“Thank you ladies for instilling a confidence that I didn't know I had.”

Bridal Boudoir Doesn't Have to be White ::: Orange County Boudoir ::: Grace and Lace Boudoir

The minute this uber sexy bride walked in our doors for her bridal boudoir, her energy matched mine exactly. That doesn’t happen all that often. With some clients, they walk in, and they’re nervous and not super chatty at first. Totally fine! I’ve got enough words for the two of us, so you don’t even have to talk if you truly don’t want to. (Though nobody has ever done that in 6 years!) But this infectiously sweet girl came in as bubbly as me and was ready. She wanted the dark & moody images that embraced her sexuality. Her wedding was just this past Saturday and I can’t wait to hear about her groom’s reaction to his gift.

In her own words:

I am SO happy I found Jeni & Sarah... they are AMAZING!! I decided to book a shoot through Grace and Lace for my fiance's wedding day gift, and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made!

Whenever I pose for pictures by myself I usually get super awkward and the pictures turn out horrible.. so I was pretty nervous about a boudoir shoot. The ladies at Grace & Lace made all of that go away. The second I walked through the door, they made me feel so comfortable and walked me through the whole process so I knew what to expect. During the shoot they are very technical and tell you exactly how to pose, so you're never stuck feeling/looking awkward in front of the camera.

Their photography style is a perfect mix of sexy, dark/moody, and classy. They capture all the best angles and lighting to make sure you look and feel your best. I absolutely LOVE the way my photos turned out, and I know my fiance is going to love them too!! It's been so hard not showing him before the wedding day!

I'm so thankful I found Grace and Lace, I honestly couldn't imagine doing a boudoir shoot any other way! I promise if you decide to book through them you won't regret it!!

Boudoir Slideshows ::: Orange County Boudoir ::: Grace and Lace Boudoir

One of my favorite parts about the entire session is your viewing. Shooting is fantastic, of course, and we definitely have a blast doing it but when you actually get to SEE yourself on the screen - yeah, utter amazement. Yup - that really IS you on the screen. That is your hard work, your beauty, your personality, the real YOU coming through the photos. I love watching my clients have this revelation about themselves. We start every session with a slideshow, just to whet your appetite. It's where just a handful of your images are set to music and you can watch your photos come to life. Your breath will be taken away - I promise!

Miss R's Second Boudoir Session ::: Orange County Boudoir ::: Grace and Lace Boudoir

This is Miss R's second time that she has been in our Orange County boudoir studio for a session. ((you might even remember her session from just 7 months ago! https://graceandlaceboudoir.com/blog/on-my-bucket-list-orange-county-boudoir)) She is the epitome of grace, confidence, gorgeousness, and kindness.  I loved the lingerie (and lack of ;) that she brought with her. She wanted something completely different for her session this time around. She recently started on a healthy eating program and felt the best she's felt in a long time, so she wanted to commemorate that!  And paired up with the hair and makeup that Sarah did, yeah, I'm DYING!  What I loved too was that she decided she would do a set of photos with very natural makeup for her husband who loves her fresh-faced but then she knew she wanted the glam look for herself. So we did both. A boudoir session with us is customizable - it's NOT cookie cutter, one size fits all around here.

Miss M's Super Steamy Session ::: Orange County Boudoir ::: Grace and Lace Boudoir

I am completely smitten with these images of Miss M! She wasn't afraid to trust me and as a result, we got some amazingly steamy photos. She originally intended for these to be a gift for her husband, but just like everyone else, she realized this is JUST as much, if not MORE SO, a gift for themselves.

You have permission to be both an incredible, giving, nurturing mother and a sexy WOMAN. Don’t lose sight of the woman you were before you had kids - the two CAN coexist together. You are allowed to have ME time - time that you’re not spending taking care of everyone’s needs. Invest in yourself - don’t let happiness feel like a foreign concept to you. It’s all about balance.

Miss D ::: Orange County Boudoir ::: Grace and Lace Boudoir

Ummmm, hellooooo gorgeous!! This beautiful, curvy girl was amazing to work with! She was fun, kind, VERY complimentary, and confident. Her beauty on the outside is very obvious but her beauty on the inside (where it REALLY counts) is unmatched.

Some Vintage Flare

I love it when I get to do something just a little bit different. Not that I don't LOVE a smokey eye and a nude lip, I mean ,that's my most favorite thing in the whole wide world! A bold red lip though, is empowering. I've been doing Courtney's makeup for years now, and she never wants anything less than bold, striking and daring. I like that about her.

So, what I was thinking for Court was a little bit Elizabeth Taylor, a little bit Dita Von Tease. I knew she could own it.

For her face, I primed it with Maracuja oil. I used smashbox primer all over so she would not get oily. I started on her eyes and used a light brown in her crease as a transition shade. I then used a darker brown to deepen it up. I put a vanilla shade on her lid and used bobbie brown gel liner to give her a sultry wing.  For her under eye, i kept the water line clean and used a brown shadow close to her lashes. I used champagne pop for her inner highlight and slightly on her brow bone. I put on some mascara and lashes to complete her eye makeup

I used tarte amazonian clay for her foundation and contoured with Bobbie brown foundation. I used tarte shape tape under her eye to conceal. I then set her face with Laura Mercier translucent powder. For her blush, I wanted to keep it simple so I used a muted pinky beige blush. I highlighted with Becca champagne pop on top of her cheek bones, her cupids bow and down her nose. For her lips I mixed a darker red and a brighter red color to give courtney a perfect vintage lip. I then set her face with urban decays all nighter spray and that was it! I think she looked fab!
